About me
My name is Christine Dempster and I am an astrologer based in Scotland. I have a Masters Degree in Nursing and have always wanted to be of service to those in need. My views on how this can be done have changed over the years and I left nursing to pursue something which felt more true for me.
My search led to me spending almost a year in total in India learning about yoga, eastern spirituality and vedic culture. I am an avid student of Advaita Vedanta and regularly practice meditation.
I now believe that empowering people to be true to themselves is the best help I can offer. Change starts with the individual.
My life path has taken many twists and turns whilst I found out what was right for me. Astrology has been instrumental in me finding my way and uncovering my innate gifts and talents. It has also helped me prepare for and navigate some pretty difficult transits which would have been much harder had I not been made aware of the potential wisdom available to me during those times of crisis and change.
I have learned through astrology that there is nothing 'wrong' with me and the more I work with the energies I have been born with the more peace and fulfilment I experience. I am a naturally introverted person who doesn't skip through life lightly. Understanding my natal chart has made me realise that if I honour this my gifts and talents flourish.
I use and have been trained in a 'holistic' approach to astrology. Combining both Western and Vedic astrological techniques and bringing them to you in a way that empowers you to make the best use of the energies you have been given to work with in this lifetime.
You are not supposed to be like everyone else, you are supposed to be YOU! There will never be anyone like you ever again, nor has there been before.

I am especially interested in the transits that happen in our midlife period, from around 35 until 59. Navigating these transits successfully can mean that you can get more in touch with who you are than ever before and really uncover what you came here to do.
Astrology can guide us to CONSCIOUSLY change our lives in the midlife period rather than doing it in a way that can hurt a lot of people. Having a 'midlife crisis' is actually just going through the necessary changes required to become who you really are.
